British Grand Prix – Preview

Silverstone (GB) – July 18th 2003

Coloni Motorsport came to Silverstone very prepared and determined to score an excellent result on the British track, which in 2002 too had given to the Italian team a week end rich of satisfaction thanks to Giorgio Pantano’s fourth place.

BMW-WilliamsF1 tester Ricardo Sperafico, after the podium taken at Magny Cours, is looking forward to Silverstone race. Coloni’s Lolas showed to be highly competitive, both in qualifying and race, and Ricardo can boast a good “tradition” in the British GP: in 2002 in fact he achieved an excellent third place and for Saturday race Ricardo can aim straight at the victory.

Zsolt Baumgartner prepared very carefully the British race and not only for the incoming 7th round of the F.I.A. F.3000 International: in the next days in fact, the Coloni Motorsport driver will carry out a test with JordanF1 (the team which chose Zsolt for the Friday test in the German and Hungarian GPs) at Silverstone and Baumgartner will face this race with very special motivations.

On Friday morning the free practice followed by the qualifying session.
