13 June 2005 (ASM)
Formel 3 Euroseries/Marlboro Masters

The Fontainebleau based team took it all in the most prestigious F3 race held in Europe, the 15th edition of the Zandvoort Masters.

After securing pole position, Lewis Hamilton got off to a great start, quickly taking the lead of the race and never looked back. The British driver managed a comfortable lead over his teammate, Adrian Sutil, as the Dallara Mercedes ran like a Swiss watch, enabling Lewis to get the utmost out of the car. Adrian completed the ASM triumph by climbing onto the 2nd step of the rostrum.

Frederic Vasseur:

This time we can say it: it was a perfect weekend! We constantly recorded 1-2's in front of the best competition: doubles in free practice, qualifying and the race. A superb performance on behalf of all the team, which has now recorded their 8th victory of sharp the year, and their 3rd victory in Zandvoort in eight years.

Lewis Hamilton:

This was a perfect weekend for me. My win may have looked easy - but it wasn’t. Following my good start I succeeded in opening a gap on Adrian, and then I focused on keeping the gap on a constant level to save my tyres.

Adrian Sutil:

I’m truly delighted to have finished second in the most prestigious European Formula 3 race - even if I could have delivered an even better performance, today. But Lewis was just faster, so the result is fine for me.
